Day 195: One thing I learned today…
A study conducted with a total of over 2,000 Participants showed that individuals who reported to be frequent cannabis users engaged in more physical activity than non users. The study also looked at the amount of time of sedentary behavior. When comparing cannabis users to non-users, both spent similar time engaging in sedentary behavior.
The article also mentioned that within states with full legal access to cannabis, more than 80% of participants reported concurrent cannabis use with exercise.
Just something I came across today and wanted to share. Interesting, huh? But just remember not everyone is created equal or will have the same results.
I came across the above article after reading through some blog posts from another BCBA. Nick Green with BehaviorFit conducted a single case design study looking at different strains. Not all strains are created equal. One showed and increase in daily steps compared to baseline and one showed a decreased.
