Day 67: One thing I learned today…
Are you an active couch potato?
I came across the term active couch potato during my studies. I was familiar with this but didn’t know there was a term for it. An active couch potato is described as a person who is devoted to their daily workout and may put in hard, intense daily workouts but then is otherwise living a sedentary lifestyle. Just meeting the daily requirements for physical activity may not be enough if your movement is lacking the rest of the day.
I am not going to lie. I’ve been that person. Now I try to take movement breaks throughout the day. I simply use a timer and take some deep breaths and move around. I also try to take at least 4 dogs walks in per day.
Any active couch potatoes out there?
