Day 222: One thing I learned today…
I learned 80% of the adult population is deficient in vitamin D.
Vitamin D needs are met primarily by the sun, not by diet however some food do contain higher levels of vitamin D. Vitamin D is critical for healthy cell function and maintaining bone density.
Other benefits to sun exposure include boosting mood, enhancing productivity, improved energy and sleep, and increasing interpersonal relationships.
