You can change your overall wellbeing in 10 weeks.
For those of you close to me, I am sure you have heard me go on and on about this however I recently enrolled in a course called the Science of Wellbeing offered by Yale. Some of my posts over the past few weeks have included information I have learned during the course. BONUS- the course is free and I highly recommend it.
There was a voluntary survey titled the PERMA Profiler which measured five areas of wellbeing: Positive Emotion, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning and Accomplishment. I completed the survey before and after taking the course. My score Overall Wellness Score increased from 7.69 to 8.4.
Over the past several week I have worked hard on incorporating the information I learned, developing a morning routine, journaling, practicing yoga, breath work and meditation. This may seem a little woo woo however there is scientific research backing up these practices to increase happiness and wellbeing.
