Day 89: One thing I learned today…
Never regret a workout!
So… I’ve been trying to “listen to my body” in all aspects. BUT sometimes, at the crack of dawn, my body tells me it would like to continue sleeping rather than get up for a workout. Sometimes there is a time and need for Rest and Recover rather than pushing through a workout.
I’m trying out a new morning routine. I have started to wake up and walk the pups pretty early in order to get me out of bed. I have tried putting my phone across the room as well. I just want to get up and moving before I decide to hot the “snooze” button. Then I make coffee and have time for myself for about an hour before my scheduled workout time.
I’ve also had to really talk myself into getting on my bike some morning BUT HERE IS THE THING. I never regret getting on the bike. I also have decided if I am truly not feeling it. I can always pull back on the workout. Lower the intensity or even end the session early.

This article was discussed bright an early on my group ride this morning. I definitely did not regret getting on my bike today and cycling with some amazing women.
