The World Health Organization (WHO) published their updated draft for the guidelines of physical activity (Dec 2020).

27.5% of adults and 81% of adolescents do not meet the recommended for aerobic exercise.

Children should be engaging in 60 minutes of physical activity a day.

Adults should be engaging in 150–300 min of moderate intensity or 75–150 min of vigorous intensity.

Adults 65+ should engage in multicomponent physical activity (combinations of balance, strength, endurance, gait and physical function training) at least 3 times per week.

How much physical activity are you getting? Do you meet the recommendations? What is your favorite type of physical activity?
