How to decrease creativity

Day 27: One thing I learned today…

Multitasking continued…

Continuing with my studies through Primal Health Coach Institute, during a reading provided it suggested the more you multitask, the more your attention span, creativity, and intellectual ability declines. In addition, it is more difficult for you to filter our the relevant from irrelevant. Your stress level can increase, leading to that familiar frazzled feeling that induces burnout.

I tend to feel that frazzled feeling when my to-do list has many more items on it than normal. I start to try to tackle too much at once. I guess overall I try to multitask and end up stuck.

Recently, I have started to divide my time out each day into about 2 hour chunks. Within each “chunk” of time, I incorporate mini breaks and move positions. This has been beneficial in tackling more items overall. Even if I do not get to a specific item in one particular day, I am able to accomplish more throughout my week.
