Day 59: One thing I learned today…
Today I was given the opportunity to step outside of my comfort zone. I gave it my all. I taught a Gentle Open Up flow to 3 of my peers and my mentor during yoga teacher training. The flow included asana (physical postures), pranayama (a calming breath practice), and a meditation. My nerves came crashing in as soon as I started yet I allowed myself to take a breathe. I follow ed my own advice. Be gentle and be present. Thank you to those of you who helped me out the past few weeks.
I was also given the privilege to take a class from each of my peers. It is truly amazing to see each of our personalities blossom within our own sequence even though the structure was the same. I am looking forward to learning our next sequence together.
This is just where I need to be.
