Mental Inventory

Day 166: One thing I learned today…

Information overload, this is something we are all going through daily. The amount of information at our fingertips is mind-blowing. And we continue to engage in input in multiple forms.

Do you ever take a moment to just stop and reflect? Ask yourself- What are you feeding your brain 🧠? What are you reading, writings, talking about, with who? Take a moment for a mental inventory. Do you have a filtering system in place to help you manage?

Today, I learned to take a mental inventory. I am choosing one item in which I want to filter out of my system. Well kind of. I continue to struggle with reaching for my phone when I have a free moment. Especially when I am in my office trying to work. I have decided to place my phone on a charging dock across the room during times in which I want to be fully present in what I am doing.

Let me know if you decide to take a moment for a mental inventory.
