Day 322: One thing I learned today…

I once learned at a workshop that individuals need to be exposed to a concept or message 7 times before it can sink in. I cannot find actual research on this but I’m going along with it.

I just came across this again. So I am re-sharing it. Just in case you want to learn about it again as well.

Mind wandering happens approximately half of the time.

Mind wandering can be described as engaging in off-task thoughts during an ongoing task or activity.

How can we work on this? The key is mindfulness. Next time you sit down to a meal, I challenge you to try to be as prudent and mindful as possible. Maybe you leave your phone in the other room and pay attention to the food you are eating.
