Day 238: One thing I learned today…


46 college athletes participated in a study.

Group 1 - Engaged in a 5 week mindfulness training with two- 30 minute session per week and encouraged participants to practice on their own daily.

Group 2 - Control Group


Those in Group 1, who received the mindfulness training, increased athletic performance (longer exhaustion durations) as well as increased performance on the Stroop task which related to increased executive functioning skills when compared to the control group.
