My Darling I am here for you

Day 46: One thing I learned today…

I found this to be fitting since yesterday was Valentine’s Day

Have you ever told your partner you loved them and then moments later you mentioned something else you “love” such as “I love Tacos”. That is a totally true statement. I really do love tacos and I really do love my husband! Seems to be kind of weird right? I have a much deeper love for my husband.

During YTT this past weekend we spoke about Mantras of Love and Compassion

1. My darling I am here for you: The best gift you can give is deeply listening to someone you love, being present and mindful

2. My darling I know you are there, I am very happy: recognize when others are there, be present and acknowledge them

3. My darling I know you are suffering, I am here for you: recognize when someone else is going through a rough time, be there for them.

4. My darling I am suffering, I need your help: This is probably the most difficult to do, expressing our feelings and asking for help when needed

5. My darling this is a happy moment: Recognize and acknowledge the happy moment, even when a moments seems to be frustrating or sad

6. My darling you are partly right: Recognize both the good and the bad of the situation. Use this when someone praises you are when someone criticizes you.
