Day 209: One thing I learned today…
Today I learned a new acronym to help during times of stress - S.T.O.P.
S-Stop and Pause for a moment.
T-Take a Deep Breath (being mindful of the inhale and exhale, feeling the belly rise and fall)
O- Observe your environment (take in your surroundings, be present, what do you see, feel, smell, hear, what are you feeling)
P- Proceed with awareness (rather than reaction)
