The joys of unplugging

Day 66: One thing I learned today…

Unplugging for about 36 hours from social media and shows did wonders for my soul. Although it is still colder than we were expecting for a weekend in March, we decided to spend as much time outdoors as we could and disconnect a bit. And honestly this was easier than I thought it was going to be. I did catch myself one time opening a social media app for a second just because I was sitting in the car waiting for Josh to lock up our bikes…

Here is what my time unplugged consisted of:

☀️ Playing games at a local brewery featuring gluten reduced beer

☀️ Ice cream date

☀️ Walking the pups

☀️ Meditation

☀️ Journaling

☀️ Reading and actual book

☀️ Dog training - or at least attempting :)

☀️ Yoga

☀️ Trail run

☀️ Outdoor bike ride

☀️ Meeting new people

☀️ Sitting outside watching the sunset

☀️ Tried a new recipe

☀️ Started a puzzle

☀️ Listened to music

☀️ Studied

☀️ Baked Cookie

☀️ Wrote a letter to a friend

Have you tried unplugging or disconnecting lately?
