Day 332: One thing I learned today…
I grew up making homemade noodles from scratch with my mom. I have so many good memories in the kitchen with her (especially around the holidays). Since moving over to a mostly gluten free diet, I have tried to make some noodles but have not had success until TODAY! Today I was successful and unsuccessful. First I tried using a fine natural almond flour because it is minimally processed but I could not find the correct consistency when putting the dough through the noddle maker. Instead I turned these into dumplings which worked out okay. But I was able to use King Arthur Gluten Free Measure for Measure Flour. The noodles turned out amazing. While I was at it, I also made another favorite, Cream of Chicken and I subbed the flour for the GF version and it was tasty as well.
