Alzheimer’s starts 30 years before any symptoms appear and affects 50% over age 85. The best prevention is to decrease illnesses that increase risk such as obesity, heart disease, diabetes, depression and sleep apnea


Ways to accelerate and decelerate the brain

1. Opt for foods grown organically or with little to no synthetic pesticides.

2. Evaluate the ingredients in your everyday self-care and cleaning products.

3. Avoid activities causing damage to the brain- nail salons, contact sports, drugs, alcohol, smoking, caffeine, etc.

4. Get moving & a healthy weight

5. Positive peer group

6. Stress management

7. Gratitude

8. Sleep
