Day 86: One thing I learned today…
From the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Asana or the physical practices are not mentioned much. Within the Second book “The physical postures should be steady and comfortable They are mastered when all effort is relaxed and the mind is absorbed in the Infinite."
Today, during my yoga practice I learned to allow my body to find comfort and ease. I held a headstand for several breaths and I felt steady. I’ve been practicing this posture for a few months now and I will admit, I took a little tumble a few weeks ago. Today was different, my effort relaxed. I know this will not always be the case. That is okay.
Where can you find some comfort and ease?
